Rocky and sandy seabeds of the North Atlantic and Cantabrian Sea, mainly in Galicia and Brittany.

Up to 15 years.

Mollusks, clams, small crustaceans, and organic matter.

Caught using pots or traps, capturing live specimens and selecting sizes to ensure sustainable fishing practices.
