European Lobster (Homarus gammarus)
Habitat:
Rocky and sandy seabeds of the North Atlantic, especially Galicia and Brittany (France), between 5 and 50 meters deep.
Lifespan:
Up to 30 years in the wild.
Diet:
Snails, small fish, crustaceans, and organic matter found on the seabed.
Fishing method:
Caught using selective pots or traps, allowing live capture without damaging their natural habitat.
Average size:
500 g – 2 kg
